The Convention Centre Dublin

The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) offers the perfect venue for events. The CCD is Ireland’s first purpose-built international conference centre, located 15 minutes from Dublin Airport and situated in the heart of Dublin’s docklands. Its convenient city centre location and excellent transport links make The CCD easily accessible whether you are travelling from within Ireland, the UK, US, Europe, or indeed anywhere in the world.

Since opening in September 2010, we have hosted over 2,000 events, maintaining a customer satisfaction rate of 98% and have won 59 industry awards to date, including ‘World's Leading Meetings & Conference Centre 2019’ at the World Travel Awards, Ireland's Best Convention Centre 2021 at the World Mice Awards and Green Tourism and Entertainment Award at the 2020 Green Awards.

In 2021, we became the third venue in the world to be awarded a Gold status by the World Obesity Federation’s Healthy Venues Award programme.

As the world’s first carbon-neutral constructed convention centre, The Convention Centre Dublin is one of Europe's most environmentally-friendly venues. Our ambition is to be net zero carbon by 2025 and we now offer clients the opportunity to offset all of their event carbon emissions for events held at the venue, by calculating an event’s total CO2 emissions output and matching that to a number of indigenous Irish trees that will be planted throughout Ireland.

Once an event is confirmed with us, we allocate an experienced team to bring the event from the planning stages right through to delivery on the day. The core team takes care of all Technical, Hospitality and Event needs. The CCD can deliver any style of event, whether it’s a board meeting for 8, a corporate banquet for 2,000, or an international association congress for over 5,000, we have the necessary expertise and equipment to bring any event to life
